Green Bay Ventures has raised $46.1 million toward a growth fund, according to a filing with the SEC.

The firm is founded by Dick Kramlich, co-founder of New Enterprise Associates, and Anthony Schiller.

The new fund, Green Bay Ventures Growth, does not list a target size. Twenty-two LPs committed capital.

RA Capital raises a $308 million venture-capital fund

RA Capital Management said it has raised a venture-capital fund of $308 million to target life sciences investing, according to a filing with the SEC.

The Boston-based firm said the new fund boosts private company deal capacity to about $1 billion and lifts assets under management to about $2.5 billion.

The RA Capital Nexus Fund will allow the firm to take larger positions in top investments and is expected to invest alongside RA Capital Healthcare Fund.

Investments span companies in early discovery to late clinical trials in areas such as neurology, rare disorders, oncology and cardiovascular disease. The firm also has an incubator with 19 programs in discovery and early development.

The firm includes Portfolio Managers Peter Kolchinsky and Raj Shah, and Co-Heads of Venture Josh Resnick and Andrew Levin.

Lightspeed Venture Partners raises $2.11 bln of new capital

Lightspeed Venture Partners has raised $2.11 billion of new capital, according to a filling with the SEC.

The capital includes $752 million for Lightspeed Venture Partners XII and $1,362 million for Lightspeed Venture Partners Select III, the filing shows. The funds attracted commitments from 148 limited partners.

Khosla Ventures has raised a pair of alternative investment vehicles to accompany its 2018 sixth fund, according to filings with the SEC.

Khosla Ventures VI (AIV) raised $50 million from 45 LPs, according to one filing.

Khosla Ventures VI (AIV) Holding raised $20 million.

Structure Capital has set out to raise a $50 million venture-capital fund, according to a filing with the SEC.

Structure Duomo did not report a first close. The firm invests in early-stage companies profiting from underutilized assets and excess capacity. Partners include Jillian Manus and Mike Walsh.

Bluebird Ventures has raised $103.5 million for a venture-capital fund managed by Sutter Hill Ventures’ Jeffrey Bird, according to a filing with the SEC.

The filing lists Bird as Bluebird’s managing director. He is presently a managing director at Sutter Hill, his LinkedIn profile shows.

Valo Ventures said it raised a $175 million first venture-capital fund to invest in companies using digital and cloud technologies to address social, economic, and environmental challenges and trends.

The Palo Alto firm will invest in Series A, B and C rounds in North America and Europe. Among its identified themes are climate change, autonomy, mobility and urbanization.

Valo is led by partners Scott Tierney, Mona ElNaggar and Julia Brady. Tierney spent seven years at Google, where he was a co-founder of CapitalG, formerly Google Capital.

Valo’s anchor limited partner is Finland-based Fortum. It has made investments in Atollogy, PlanetIQ, and Landit.
