Apple shares are up over 8% after hours trading around $455 per share. This gives Apple an effective market cap of over $420 Billion, passing Exxon Mobil (XOM) as the largest company in the world. The company posted Q1 revenue of $46.33 Billion dollars. Amazing.

January 23rd, 2012 Market Recap… Complacency at Fresh Highs

Nothing major from the market today as the indices closed flat on lower volume. The word floating around is that there is extreme complacency with the market currently, suggesting a pull back is looming in the very near future. Investors beware?

The three largest U.S. wireless providers sold an estimated 9.3 million non-iPhone smartphones in the third quarter, compared to 4.7 million iPhones.
