SAP CEO McDermott Is Intent on Beating; That’s No Easy Task

SAP just rolled out its biggest product makeover in years -- it combined sales, marketing and customer service software into a suite of tools called C/4HANA linked to its business planning system -- and acquired CoreSystems, a Swiss firm specializing in customer service software in its pursuit of business customers. McDermott refers to the single-integrated product as SAP's "master plan to disrupt CRM."
